Melinda Piller – FAMFT Lobbyist
For over two decades, Melinda Piller has represented clients in both the legislative and executive branches in Florida and Washington, D. C. Melinda’s professional background includes government relations, campaign and association management, marketing and communications. In addition, Melinda is an adjunct professor at Barry University and Flagler College. Melinda holds a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Business and Organizational Management.
As lobbyist for the FAMFT, Melinda has worked in many initiatives, including successfully filing and passing MFTs’ administration of the Baker Act. As the FAMFT voice in Tallahassee, Melinda is committed to protecting our profession, while securing and maintaining parity among mental health professionals in Florida and focusing on improving and enhancing professional opportunities for all Marriage and Family Therapists.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
